With international arbitration gaining more and more recognition and its market expanding as never before, so is the pressing need for clear, effective cross-border dispute resolutions. However crossing borders in step with these disputes are also the laws and cultures of each parties, creating an interesting multi-cultural sphere of friction to arise. Serving as a forum to explore ways to approach these disparities of parties in cross-cultural disputes, this seminar will examine the diversity of legal perspectives in accordance with different cultural backgrounds, discuss potential ideas to minimize miscommunication, and also address ways to ensure efficacy in dealing with the multi-cultural milieu.
