Speed is touted as one of the main advantages of International arbitration. Parties actively choose arbitration over litigation in the belief that arbitral proceedings are faster, and cheaper, than court litigation. However, this is not always the case in practice.

In the face of rising demand for more efficient proceedings, arbitral institutions have adopted features to ensure faster resolution of disputes. These include time limits for the issue of final awards and expedited procedures.

In this seminar, we will focus on how counsel can help to expedite arbitration proceedings, with tips from both the institution and arbitrator's points of view. Join our panel to hear views from different stakeholders in the arbitration process on how counsel can think strategically to expedite arbitrations.

This event is complimentary.
