Overview

Our panelists will be giving an overview of international arbitration in the Greater Bay Area (“GBA”), including the Belt & Road Initiative in a 150 minute interactive panel discussion.

  Topics will include:  
  • the Greater Bay Area initiative from the Hong Kong Government’s perspective;
  • relationship to the Belt & Road Initiative;
  • the current arrangements for arbitrations arising out of disputes related to the Greater Bay Area;
  • regional judicial and arbitral assistance arrangements;
  • the client’s perspective;
  • experiences and challenges; and
  • a model for the future.
 
The session will be supported by case-studies and a background materials briefing pack.
